So far in this course.....

Right now we have covered the map of Canada and have labelled the capital cities, other prominent cities, and natural features.  We have completed latitiude and longitude and have completed topographic maps including the 4 and 6 digit reference system.  We have just completed time zones and began learning about the process of tectonic forces today in class.  We covered folding and faulting today.  We will begin the rock cycle next class and will begin the landform regions of Canada next week.  Students should be reviewing these topics on an ongoing basis.    As I have repeated on numerous occasions, the studetns need to appreciate the seriousness of the high school credit system right away.  Every credit counts!  They cannot graduate from high school without these two credits in Canadian Geography 1202.
